Since age 3, Pip had an obsession with everything about horses. On Christmas holidays, spent at the family holiday home, far north NZ surrounded by farms, Pip would lie down with broodmares with their foals and listen, watch, feel, see how they spoke to each other. Riding since age 7 she learnt that horses don't lie. They're telling you exactly what's happening for them when you show up in the paddock.

Her first horse Jessie taught her how to speak her language in order to catch her, ride her, jump her, trust her.

It wasn't without broken bones - the learning curves were steep but critical to learning the truth. 40 years later, the thousands of horses have been a wealth of knowledge shared, witnessed, heard and felt.
